Batangas Healthcare Specialists Medical Center (BHSMC) is one of the more established hospitals in Batangas City, which is home to experienced multispecialty medical professionals. The hospital provides high-quality healthcare services with advanced diagnostic, medical, and surgical equipment that caters to the needs of patients. BHSMC is also the first private hospital in Batangas City to have advanced minimally invasive surgeries (MIS) in different surgical specialties. The hospital is also positioned as a referral hospital in Batangas and its neighboring provinces.

HISTORY

From Humble Clinic to Leading Medical Center

Serving the healthcare needs of the people of Batangas province is Batangas Healthcare Specialist, Inc. or BHSI, a humble medical clinic that 24 highly trained multi-specialty medical professionals started in 2003.

The founders of BHSI are aggressively positioning themselves ready to meet the increasing demand for healthcare in the province in the years to come.

Hence, the decision to incorporate and set up the new and distinct corporation, Healthcaremax Inc., with a vision to take a leadership position in providing multi-specialty health care services in the Batangas province as well as its surrounding cities and municipalities in Calamba, Laguna and Mindoro areas.

Hospital Complex has a total land area of 8,572 square meters.

BHSI has grown with over 30,000 bases of OPD patients in the province. After operating for 12 years, it has become increasingly difficult to provide care to the increasing number of patients within the walls of a 223-square meter clinic facility.

The team of doctors that comprise BHSI has embarked on a progressive plan to expand the services of the group by recruiting additional medical specialists, upgrading its equipment, and transforming its clinic operations into a full-service hospital that can provide full expert medical care to Batangueños, comparable to top-notch medical facilities found in the National Capital Region.

The newly established company, Healthcaremax Inc., has constructed a new hospital building that will be named “Batangas Healthcare Specialists Medical Center” or BHSMC.
